Vintage 6.5" Ask For Walker's AUSTEX Food Products Celluloid Advertising Hook. Walker's Chile, Mexene, Tamales advertising receipt or note holder display wall mounted hook. There is some wear, soiling, cracking and fading to the front and some oxidation of the hook and on the back. Antique wall hook, with celluloid advertising topper.
"Ask for Walker Products" who were "famous" for a product called Mexene Chili Powder (has a cool devil on the label) which is a product used in Texas chili.
The piece, it its entirety, measures: 6.5"H and the oval shape ad is 2 3/4" x 2".
