This is a lithographed tin Express Transport truck in the original box with original key. Tin Windup Toy is Dutch and prewar; 1930s. Length is 11¾" inches by 3½" wide and stands 3¼" tall. All tin even the wheels. The windup motor is the early piano wire type, prewar. Truck was made in Europe from the lettering on the box. Mechanische Vrachtwagen translates to Mechanical Truck in Dutch. Expresse also translates to express from Dutch. Toy condition is near mint and working. Box is excellent with one ½" push through as seen in last photo. All flaps are present. Shipping to the west coast will be $9.00; your ZIP may be cheaper.
