We have for your consideration a turned wooden bank made by Stronghart of Chicago. The wood is probably maple, a hard wood. The trap is incised with STRONGHART CO. PATENTED CHICAGO. Stronghart was a subsidiary of the Banthrico Co. which was founded in the 1930s. Age is most likely the 1930s since only the Stronghart name is on it and not Banthrico. Size is 3 tall and 2¼ in diameter at the center. Condition is excellent with some wear around the middle and paint loss around the key hole. The original key is included.
