Rare and important in cooperation with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer showcasing swimming star Ester Williams paper doll book. Quite an unusual set up as the set has a windowA Look - Thru Book on the front cover which you can see the 2nd page and the paper doll actually is seen. Also unusual is the fact that one paper dolls is in a seated pose and not standing. There are over 20 outfits with lots of accessories including heels, hats, and gloves. Also interesting is there is a cardboard half page in the back with a paper dog of her dog Angie and hard cardboard cutouts of Sun Tan oil,, a crown and more. From the 1950's this the file copy from the Merrill Publisher. This would be mint, however, there is a small cardboard piece out just above the top staple. Not noticeable on the front (approx. 1 tall x 3/8) and on the back (approx. 1 x 1/2). Also a slight tear on the cover at the 2nd staple. Colors are fantastic and no fading. Stock -3082-90QQT
