Different than most of our inventory, this sign actually stands out among the rest! The basic white background with black letters and the red plus look really good on this porcelain sign. The single sided porcelain sign was more than likely used for a military hospital in the 1950's to 1960's. Emergency First Aid and American Red Cross along with a black border are simple and clean! The red cross had the word Somerset in the middle, as you can see the outline of the word under the light. The back is blank except for the maker's information at the top. Ing.-Rich. Beaver Falls, Pa. is stamped above the top mounting hole. Some small chips on three of the rounded corners of this porcelain sign, and it has the original metal grommets to hold it to the pole.
