From a private collection, this is a breathtaking piece of Louisville history. It looks to be heavy cardboard and imprinted with many, many colors with accents of gold leaf. The lady is sitting on a stone bench hand holding on to her gold necklace. She has gold accented flowers in her hair and is getting ready to eat strawberries. A cupid sits in front of her with golden wings and getting ready to drink from a chalice. A lovely blue bird and white dove are drinking beside the lady. Imprinted with 1907 Greeting Raah & Bohmer 223 W. Market St. Louisville, Ky. Both Phones 198. We make a specialty of Best Pittsburg Coal for Family Use. The only thing I see that keeps it from being mint is a small piece of paper off from her skirt, approx 1/4 x 1/4. The gold details throughout the piece are just breathtaking. The piece has been matted in a gold which compliments the picture. The piece was once had a calendar pad however, is now gone. It does have four small holes where it was once attached. We have not taken out of the professional framing, however, will be glad to for a serious buyer. 3760-TPP
