Goshen Ice Cream Cone Paper Mache Parlor Display Milford DE
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This great looking one piece ice cream cone with a big helping of vanilla ice cream on top is made completely from paper mache! The base is blueish in color with hand painted 5 cents All Flavors on it. The cone is marked Goshen Ice Cream in hand painted letters, just like the base. Under the base is a label that states Papier Mache Ice Cream and Dairy Displays John H. Mulholland Co. Milford, Delaware. The label has a hole in it from the top where someone tried to make the cone more stable, as it is very lightweight. Some minor chips on the ice cream part of the cone, with a 2.5 inch crack in the material on the left side. We have a feeling that the mounting hole was probably happened just after the crack in the side. The top of the ice cream is worn with some paint loss. All original and a very nice piece of history. 26 inches tall, 7.5 inches deep, and 7.25 inches wide. 18208-ETP
