ITEM DESCRIPTION:

I can't imagine anything harder to market than razor blades, but Gillette did a great job marketing to men with this diecut lithograph counter sign. It features a baseball player in the upper right with a very colorful Gillette Blue Blade Razor at the bottom. It ties into Gillette's Cavalcade of Sports program, so if any sports fan listened to the program, they would instantly know which brand of razor blades to purchase. This counter sign is new old stock and has never been used in a retail environment. The easel back has never been bent and the colors are fantastic. Just a small bent on the left side of the cardboard from storage we believe is the only blemish on this great ad. It is marked Litho In U.S.A. on the bottom left and SSR 20 A on the bottom right.
