Dating from the 1st quarter of the 20th century, this hard to find little tin advertising bell was used on screen doors of the store to let the owner know when someone came through the door. Perhaps these were put on the counter to ring when you needed help. Either way, these are extremely rare to find and in excellent condition. It has a copper washed surface and is embossed on the front Brown bilt Shoes Buster Brown Shoes. The bell measures 3 1/4 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide and is in excellent condition with some surface rust on the handle and much of the copper wash worn off. 16751-71WT
