ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This rare porcelain gas pump plate dates from the 1920s or early 1930s and is designed to mount on an old style visible gas pump. It is inscribed The Mark of Quality Sico Petroleum Products on a red square in the center. Sico, or Star Independent Oil Company, was a Pennsylvania producer. The pump plate measures 16 1/2 inches tall by 15 inches wide and is in excellent condition with a couple 1 to 2 inch chips on the top edge and some surface wear and fading. 17109-81TPP
