Dutch Boy Paint Advertising Store Sign
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This unusual self framed cardboard advertising sign dates from the 1920's or 1930's and is based on the famous 1907 painting by L. C. Earle, The Dutch Boy Painter. It is the well known image of the little boy in his wooden shoes and overalls, sitting on a ledge with a bucket of paint and a brush. It has been the symbol of White Lead Paint Co. for a century.
