ITEM DESCRIPTION:
This rare early chewing gum display box dates from the 1890s and has a wonderful image of a coy young lady being approached by an amorous gentleman on the underside of the lid. In Aesthetic style writing, it is inscribed Kis-Me Chewing Gum The Popular Favorite Pure Clean Delicious No Gum Ever Made Can Compare With It. There are instructions listed at the bottom explaining how to use the box for a counter display. The box measures 6 1/2 inches tall by 5 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches deep and is in excellent condition with stains, edge wear, and discoloration. 3643-71ETP
