Made of thin aluminum, this sign looks like it was made for a couple of different ways to display. It has multiple holes around the outer edge of the sign which could mean it had a similar Hendler's sign attached to the back for customers to see. Because of the ninety degree bend at the top of the sign, it could have been hung from the ceiling above the ice cream counter or outside the store front. The Hendler's logo and The Velvet Kind are both embossed on this aluminum sign. It is marked M-H Co. Phila. AFL 551 on the ninety degree bend. Some minor chips around the rivet holes and some minor chipping at the very bottom of the sign. Some very small scratches in the Hendler's logo with some minor oxidation on the outer corners and upper mounting holes. This sign is very light weight and bends easily. There are some small bends in the bottom curved part. 18382-TPP
