ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This wonderful embossed die cut cardboard calendar, with a beautiful image of a little girl holding a bouquet of hydrangeas, was manufactured by Phil J. Anthe & Co. in Cincinnati in the early 1900s. It is inscribed Deal with A. Schemel, The Reliable Mohawk Jeweler, Phone Main 2508, No. 1953 Central Ave. and has a December 1906 month sheet at the bottom. The calendar measures about fifteen and three quarters inches tall by eight and a half inches wide and is in excellent condition with a three quarter inch bit of loss in the lower left corner. The piece has been examined and and reframed. This piece and many of our new listings are fresh to the market and have been in a collection for many years.
