ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This scarce folding wire bottle rack dates from the 1930s and would have most likely been placed next to the gossip bench at a country store, allowing customers to avoid paying the bottle deposit. The tin sign at the top is inscribed with the Drink Coca Cola Refresh ! logo on the left and Please Place Empties Here on the right. It has slots for 84 empty bottles. The rack measures about 52 inches tall by 16 inches wide by 18 inches deep at the base and is in excellent condition with a nice patina of surface wear and paint chips from years of use. 16859-71RPP
