ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Very nice receipt/invoice dated May 9, 1928 from the R. D. Cole Manufacturing Company, Newnan, Georgia. The company manufactured towers and tanks, stand pipes, engines, boilers, corn mills, mill work, sash and doors, and castings. Invoice was billed to Carlton Yarn Mills of Cherryville NC North Carolina for services of foreman's time, erector's time, car fare to job and meals for a total of $60.50. Invoiced was approved by a W. B. Putman, superintendent. Invoice measures approximately 8.25" x 6.25". This receipt/invoice is in good condition. Creases where paper was folded for insertion into envelope. Also surface wear and corner tip creases.
