This is a postally used vintage 1944 WWII home front patriotic cover cachet postmarked March 9, 1944, Camp Crowder, MO. Illustration shows a possible P-61 Black Widow with caption "Our Eyes Can See the Glory of Victory. Cover is addressed to another serviceman located at Camp Campbell, Kentucky. Cover measures approximately 6.50" x 3.75". A letter is enclosed with this envelope. One soldier writing another about swapping patriotic covers and some small chit-chat about life in general. The cover is in good used condition with surface wear and soiling/stains. Cover and letter showing signs of age-toning/tanning.
