Large vertical signs were a great fit between service station garage doors, and many automotive related companies knew this! Everything from batteries, to oil, and tires were advertised on these narrow signs that were always over four feet tall and narrow! This one is very simple with whiteFirestone letters down the middle on a red background and white wings on each side. Around the center it is self framed, and the sides are die cut to give it that cool 1960's fee. It is marked Made In U.S.A. A-775 and A-513 on the bottom of the sign. Some minor chipping has occurred on the self framed area in various places and a few small chips in the center of the sign. The six brass grommets are original and will easily hold the sign up nicely in your collection. On the bottom lip, a few small bends have occurred over the years. Many collectors love these signs because they are narrow and you can hang many of them together in on a small wall! Add this great one to your collection today!
