This unusual advertising sign, printed on canvas and framed like a piece of fine art, is an image of a nude, carving the name Karl Kieffer and sausage press onto a slab of marble. A brass plaque attached to the bottom of the frame is inscribed 'Merit' Compliments of Rheinstrom Bros. Cincinnati, O. U.S.A. Rheinstrom Brothers was a distillery that went out of business when Prohibition began in 1920. The sign measures 16 1/2 inches tall by 12 1/2 inches wide with the frame and is in excellent condition with minor wear on the frame. 16917-71WTP
