Vintage WWII era service matchbook cover (with striker but no matches) for the US Maritime Service Graduate Station, Hotel Chelsea, New York. Front cover shows the US Maritime Service emblem and illustration of pier, life raft, rope and a steam ship. Reverse side of cover has the official song of the US Maritime Service "Heave Ho! My Lads, Heave Ho! Measures 3.00" x 4.50" and manufactured by the Universal Match Corp, New York. Matchbook cover is in good used condition with some soiling/stains and bumped corners.
