Dromedary Dates Cardboard Trolley Car Advertising Sign 30s
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
DROMEDARY DATES CARDBOARD TROLLEY CAR ADVERTISING SIGN 30'S IN FRAME RARE SOME WEAR 21x11. Here is a rare Dromedary Dates sign that you never see from the 1930's. It has nice colors but, there is some tears and folds in the cardboard. There is some moisture damage on the bottom. It is in a glass frame. I have had this for 25 years and never taken it out of the frame. Shows a picture of someone holding a plate of dates with the Golden Dates box. It also is an advertisement for Datenut Butter. These products were made by The Hills Brothers Co New York. It says that it comes in dust proof packages which was necessary during the dust bowls of the 1930's. With frame the size is approx 22 X 12. These trolley signs were placed inside trolleys and buses as advertising for products.
