Decorated with wonderful images of field hands picking cotton and natives harvesting rubber, divided by an image of an automobile, a line of white balloon tires trailing behind it, speeding down the highway, and an inset image of the Gryphon Rubber factory, the flyer is inscribed from this - to - you buy from the Factory direct Metropolitan Cord Tires Guaranteed 10,000 Miles. The price sheet, listing tire sizes from 30 x 3 1/2 to 37 x 5, is inscribed across the top These Direct-From-Factory-To-Consumer Prices Will Speak For Themselves ! Apparently Metropolitan Tires were sold via mail order directly to individuals rather than wholesale to repair shops and service stations. The pieces are in excellent condition with typical discoloration. There are fold creases on the flyer and some minor water stains on the price sheet. Both pieces have been nicely matted and framed for display and protection. With the frame the flyer measures 14 inches tall by 20 inches wide and the price sheet measures about 15 inches tall by 12 inches wide. 17370-81WPP
