DRUMMING MICKEY MOUSE BATTERY OPERATED 1950s LINEMAR JAPAN REPLICA BOX. Here is the Drumming Mickey Mouse battery operated 1950's in a replica box. Linemar Japan. This classic toy is in great condition. Nice clothes, fur, ears, suspenders and drum sticks with end balls. The nose may have been had some restoration. There may have been a ribbon type bow tie, if so, that is gone. Has the drum which has the original top that is in fine condition, the bottom of the drum has a small slit. No rust. Battery chamber is nice. It worked when I originally got it in 2002 but, the 70 year old wires are very brittle and have broken in places. The internal wiring inside the battery chamber may be an issue as well but, it looks fine. I connected a DC power supply to the wires leading to the toy and the toy worked. The last picture shows his lighted eyes. The internal mechanics are fine just needs a rewiring which is something I can't do. The older replica box has some light wear and a light crease on top and side. A classic Mickey Mouse Battery Operated toy. Please check out my other vintage toys.
