ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Different than the earlier round glass paperweights, this rectangle glass paperweight had much more advertising area, and the dice area was made much smaller! Only two dice on this much larger paperweight that advertises Lord Abstract Co., who is a real estate title company located in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. The inscription on this heavy paperweight reads They Are Loaded - But Only With Our Good Will, Since 1887, along with the names of the owners, telephone number, and location. It measures one inch tall, by four and a quarter inches in length, by two and three-quarters wide. It has two small dice in the upper left corner, one red, one white. If you turn the paperweight over, a mirror is on the bottom! Neat option that I would have never thought of! A bit more modern than the round paperweights, we date this from the 1940's to 1950's. We have other types of these paperweights, please search our inventory! 18982-OT
