ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Dating from the 1930's, this Gulf Cards Honored sign hung outside of your local Gulf gas station and let travelers know they could charge their fuel purchase to their charge account with ease! It is a double sided porcelain sign that measures twelve inches tall by eighteen inches wide. Up top it has two rubber grommets that have been added to protect the original holes. The colors on both sides are sharp and the blue letters and outline stand out nicely against the white background. Some minor marks and pitting are on the sign face that you can see up close. The bracket appears to be an original bracket that was used to hang the sign from the Gulf station. Great looking sign that is in amazing shape for almost a century old!
