ITEM DESCRIPTION:
The manufacturer of this Depression-era black amethyst ashtray is unknown-possibly Cambridge. The top edge has a slight hump to it with a rectangle of silver overlay running between each of the three (3) cigarette rests. The center features a terrier in silver overlay. There is a small chip on the rim above the dog's ears. The overlay is worn from use. There are no cracks or other chips, but there is a straw mark on the reverse between the rim and base.
