ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Just the right size to fit about anywhere, this 1940's Hires Root Beer sign measures eight and a half inches tall by six inches wide, and has a tin front that is wrapped around cardboard. It has the original string on the back that it would hang from at your local soda fountain. The front states Got a Minute Have a Hires Your Invitation To Refresh with the Hires logo atop a formal invitation. The outer corners have some minor chipping with some slight paint loss, as do the top and bottom edges. Some small scratches are on the face of the sign as well. The lower left corner has a small ding in the face, just above the printing Made In U.S.A.. It is also marked FA-2 in the lower right, and Donaldson Art Sign Co. Cov. KY on the back.
