ITEM DESCRIPTION:
FIRE DEPARTMENT TIN FIRE ENGINE TRUCK FRICTION 50s JAPAN WORKS 16 SIREN /LADDER. Here is a nice tin litho fire truck that is overall 16 inches long (14.25 when connected). It is friction driven and works. The paint is nice with some light wear. Has all 3 tin front lights two of which has some surface rust. Part of the front fender and one headlight have surface rust. There is a crank that makes the siren work and it does. Crank that lifts the ladder works. Crank that extends the ladder does not. Looks like there is a ribbon within that probably is stretched out. Has all the hubcaps. A couple of the wheels are a little wobbly. A nice example of this toy that was made in Japan. Please check out my other vintage toys. Please ask any questions that you may have.
