Route Salesman Coca Cola Advertising 1920
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Very rare Coca Cola sales aid sign from the late 1920's. There's not much information out there about these little cardboard signs, but they were apparently used by the route salesmen to help sell grocers and store owners on the benefits of carrying Coca Cola. This sign has an image of a grocer standing at the register counting out the day's receipts. There is a stack of Coca Cola cases beside him. The caption reads Coca Cola surely does pay. The sign is inscribed Coca Cola profits are real. Coca Cola is delivered often and sold quickly. This reduces the cost of ice - space - money invested. It pays to push Coca Cola. It had to be good to get where it is - 7 million a day. The back of the sign is blank and it has three holes punched into it so that it will fit in a ring binder. It is in excellent condition with wear in the corners and water stains and surface loss on the right edge. 12757-21UI
