The 1903 Pe-Ru-Na Lucky Day Almanac issued each year by the Peruna Drug Mfg. Co., Columbus, OH. Almanac has 32 pages. Besides the typical information found in almanacs (weather forecasts, monthly calendar of sunrise, sunsets, moon sets etc, the remainder of the booklet covers the various cures for what ails you. This almanac fixates on Catarrh. Many testimonials for Peruna cures Catarrh of the head, eyes, ears, throat, larynx, bronchial tubes, lungs, stomach, liver, kidneys, bladder, and pelvic. The inside back cover is an advertisement for the Hartman Sanitarium. Almanac was given out to customers of Irwin E. Lutz of Denver PA, a pharmacy that carried a full line of drugs, medicines and chemicals. Almanac measures approximately 6.75" x 9.50". Almanac is in good used condition. Covers and internal pages secured by staples and staples are clean. Covers show surface wear, edge nicks, soiling/stains and corner tip creases. Internal pages are age-toned/tanned with corner tip creases. All pages are present and no writing noted.
