SPANKING BEAR BATTERY OPERATED IN BOX & INSERT NEAR MINT WORKS LINEMAR JAPAN 50s. Here is a great old toy. If you were a kid in the 50's and 60's as I was spanking was what happened to you whenever you did something your parents didn't like. I guess I got on their nerves more often than I should. This toy depicts that fond memory. It is near mint and almost 70 years old. The clothes are nice as well as the tin and fur. Momma bear uses her hand to spank baby bear. Baby bears arms and feet go up in the air mouth opens and cries (Like a squeak) Momma's head turns from side to side and eyes open and close. She stops for a couple seconds and then round two starts and so forth. The timing seems to be a little off between the hand and and when the baby moves. Hard to find one in this condition working at all. Almost 10 inches tall. The box has light wear and has a cardboards insert. Please check out my other vintage toys.
