ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Coca Cola always seemed to raise the bar when it came to their advertising. This really nice "Delicious and Refreshing" diecut cardboard sign features a young lady drinking a bottle of ice cold Coca Cola standing in front of a open Coca Cola cooler filled to the brim with ice cold Coke! The red button background provides a great color combination with her white shirt and really makes this cardboard stand out. It is marked "The Coca-Cola Company Canada Limited Lithograph Canada 1939" in the lower right corner. The lower corners have gotten bent over the years of display and have some cracks with color loss. There has been NO restoration to this piece so it is all original, which is hard to find these days. A few other bends have occurred to the outer lip of the sign, with areas effected being the square on the left and the rounded circle background. Due to the fragile nature of this beautiful sign, it has been framed in a very nice shadow box type of frame to give it some nice depth. It is held in place with thin wire as not to stick anything on the back. The cardboard itself measures 31 inches wide and 42 inches tall the frame measures 35 inches wide by 46.25 inches tall.
