Wonderful Black Americana pieces produced by the American Bank Note Company, this wonderful calendar, advertising Clarence Brooks & Co. Fine Coach Varnishes, was originally a free premium, given to customers who purchased varnish. Each month sheet is decorated with a cartoon featuring the antics of a golliwog and all the problems that he gets himself into. Originally joined by a string hanger, the month sheets have been separated and matted and framed, creating a colorful display. The display measures 19 3/4 inches tall by 39 1/2 inches wide and is in excellent condition with almost no wear other than the string holes being torn about half of the month sheets. 1294-81WTP
