In order to show customers the different colors available to them, Devoe Paint issued this celluloid easel back sign to the general stores across the country. It features different styles of house paint and wood varnish, which includes enamel, house paint, velour flat, velour gloss / semi-gloss, floor and deck enamel, and mirrolac varnish stain. Each type of paint has different colors to choose from with the stock numbers assigned. It also advertises Devoe paint thinner at the bottom. Some discoloration has occurred along the edges, mainly in the corners. The display can be placed on a store counter, or hung from the wall. The original string that it hung has broken with age and a replacement has been added. Very rare piece to find! 1007-QWT
