Schafer and Vater Elongated Bisque Figure Mr Adams
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Original Schafer and Vater black Americana bisque figure. Approximately 7 1/2" tall. The figure wears a large fig leaf loosely draped from his shoulders from a pair of red suspenders; white necktie, black derby hat and holds a blue umbrella in his right hand (refer to photos). Matte glazing is consistent throughout the piece.The back of the softly glazed base bears an incised marking that looks to be a design number of "8542" In excellent condition no chips or cracks or crazing. He is better known as Mr. Adam.
