Dating from the 1920's this United Cigar display sign is actually two porcelain signs mounted back to back plus a beautiful gold Zinc embossed frame and an lighted metal hood! Everything is in impeccable shape and this beauty is ready for you to bring home! The signs are porcelain finished with a smooth face, with simply United Cigars in ten inch yellow letters. The letters have a thin black outline around them with a thicker white trim and a thin black outline to make them stand out nicely against the red background. The outer trim edging features an inlay Zinc metal trim that contrasts nicely against the sign colors. A metal hood is above the signs that appear to be original. The hood has age appropriate porcelain light sockets with brass screws. Five light bulbs on each side provide ample light to let everyone know where to purchase United Cigars from. One small touchup on one side can be seen beside to the left of the E in United, and measures about two inches around. The signs measure thirty-six inches tall by sixty inches wide. The hood measures ten inches on each side, with a total of twenty-four inches across. Total height of the sign with the metal hanging brackets is forty-seven inches.
