Robeson Shuredge Knife / Scissors Wooden Glass Display Case
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
During the early 1900's, Robeson Cutlery Company was considered one of the two best manufacturers of pocket cutlery in America, and one of the best in the world. Robeson produced a vast array of patterns on their knives, some made by no one else during this time period. The knives were made for working men, which bought their knives from a showcase such as this one at their local general store. This countertop case held multiple Robeson knives, plus scissors. Each one had a number and price as noted on the white celluloid pins. The glass is very thick and solid on three sides, with a solid wooden back that is held in with screws. Robeson is painted in gold on the sides, with Shuredge on the front. The top, bottom, and sides have intricate metal trim to make it stand out among the other cases. It stands forty-nine and a half inches tall, by six and a half inches wide. Due to the size of this showcase, it cannot be shipped, please contact us for show availability. 19356-IPP
