Eveready Raytheon Radio Tubes Working Store Display 1940s
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
In 1929 the National Carbon Company (Eveready batteries) entered into an agreement with Raytheon to be the sole distributor of Raytheon tubes and the brand name was changed to Eveready Raytheon. This ultra rare store display is promoting Eveready's advanced four pillar radio tubes with a light up four pillar building! When plugged in, the light up top showcases five radio tubes on a stair step display while the front bulb is surrounded by four arrows promoting the four pillars for better radio reception. The bulbs do not cost more, but are more efficient that regular bulbs. The case has metal sides with four wooden pillars and a reverse painted glass front. The back has three shelves for the storeowner to store the radio tubes with ease. Some minor scratches are in various places on the display, with some chips in the paint from years of use. It measures twenty-six inches tall by eighteen and a half inches wide by seventeen inches deep. A perfect addition to your vintage radio display! This is an oversized shippable item.
