ITEM DESCRIPTION:
NBN Tin Clown With Ball Wind Up N Mint Boxed US Zone Germany. Here is a very hard toy to find from the 1940's-50's. It's a clown on a platform with a circus setting and he has a ball/balloon on a rod. Wind him up and he turns to the left as the ball catches the wire frame and spins around. Once the cord unwinds he then proceeds to the next wire and does the same thing. This goes on for a while. The toy is very rare and this one is near mint working great, very light wear. Made in US Zone Germany. The equally rare if not more so box is in excellent condition, all the staples are secure. The top label has some wear and a corner tear. Has some writing as well which shows 93/255. Could there only have been 255 made? I have never seen another. I seen one with a fish but, never a ball. Please check out my other vintage toys.
