Black Americana Florida Novelties Bobble Head, Thermometer. Here are 4 Black Americana novelties in great condition from the 1950's. These would have been gotten at a gift shop probably in Florida while on vacation. First is a ceramic bobble head bank with a baby leaning on an orange, it has light wear but no damage, still has the bottom stopper. Has a straw hat, I don't know if that was original to the piece but its included. Made Kenmar Japan. Next is a thermometer on a palm tree, it is 6 inches tall made of all wood. The kids in the tree have their hats and earrings plus a spear. Oranges below. The thermometer works. Made in Japan. Next is a longer piece of wood with three figures, one is sitting on a drum. I am not sure what the other two are doing. Made in Japan. Lastly is a girl with Hawaiian hat Wooden Smoking Figure in the box. Looks unused. Has a couple bags of the fake cigarettes that are used to make the figure smoke. Made of all wood. How many of these could be left and for what real purpose? One bag has a tear. Has the box and instructions. Very unusual. Made in Japan. An entire collection of items that would never be manufactured today. Please check out my other vintage items.
