6 Assorted Airplane 12 Tin Boxed Sets in Case NOS Mint Rare. Here is an original generic chipboard shipping box contains complete amount of a dozen cardboard boxes w/illustrated lids, each containing six different 3.5 long tin litho friction airplanes w/plastic wings. These have not been taken out of the boxes in 60 years. I took a couple out and the friction worked albeit a little sluggish from non use. There are 72 planes total, I did not check them all to see if they work, I would presume so but, you are buying as is. Made in Japan by Saito Toy Co in the 1960's. Planes included are marked Navy, Army, TWA, Pan Am, B.O.A.C. and Lufthansa. Shipping box shows some aging/wear w/one edge tear to lid. The boxes that hold the planes are like new. They do have some bends and a little wavy from being in the boxes all this time. Toys are unused, mint new old stock, old store stock. There may not be another one of these in existence.
