ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Dick Tracy Police Car by Marx Boxed Rare Plastic Version 40s. Friction drive. You see the metal Dick Tracy squad cars quite often but, not these hard green plastic ones. Made by Marx late 40's early 50's the car is 10 inches long. Except for a hairline on the hood that doesn't go all the way through this car is in great condition. It is clean and nice. Has the slightest bit of warpage here and there. Has Dick Tracy himself in the drivers seat, has the steering wheel, has the windshield that does have some wear and a little chipping on bottom left. Has the decal which is very nice, the word police is a little smeared. The bottom is nice, may have been pushed down a little on the front metal part. Friction works great and the siren works if run rather quickly on a rug then held in hand. The box is in fair condition, missing three end flaps on one end, the other end has all the end flaps with some tape. Hard to find Dick Tracy car made by Marx. Please check out my other vintage toys.
