Schwinn Sting Ray Pixie Convertible Bicycle Blue 1970

Just imagine looking through the Sears Christmas catalog and seeing this beauty on the pages in between! If only you were lucky enough to own this sleek Schwinn Sting Ray bicycle, you would be the envy of the neighborhood! Complete with a sparkly banana seat and added spoke decorations, this sixteen inch boys bike also has chrome fenders and a coaster brake. It is in great, gently used condition with minor nicks and scratches. The chrome has some spotting and fading from being close to fifty years old, and is all original. The rear tire is marked Schwinn Traction and the front is marked Schwinn Superior. The banana seat has a small chip in the right side, but is marked Schwinn Sting Ray on the back along with Made In U.S.A. Great piece to relive your childhood!
