ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Dating from the 1910s, this colorful lithographed is decorated with an image of a wasp waisted bathing beauty with a flower blossom in her hand, sitting on a beach side bench. In the upper right corner it is inscribed Compliments Of E. W. Nagle Nagle's Pure Rye Bottled In Bond 148 North Seventh St. Allentown, PA. At one time in its life it was a calendar and when the year ended it was made into a wonderful picture. This was not unusual back in the early century that beautiful ladies were kept and used as pictures when the year was over. The calendar top is in excellent condition with a couple of light creases and has been mounted in a 23 inch tall by 18 inch wide frame for display and protection. 17007-71UTP
