ITEM DESCRIPTION:

This rare historic 1912 canvas calendar has a beautiful image of a lady in a large flowery hat and was a free premium, given to customers by a Boston, Ma. bottler. The upper left corner is inscribed Compliments of Demetrio Camelio & Co. Bottlers All the Leading Brands of Ale & Lager 10 Lewis St. Boston, Mass. Attached to the bottom of the lovely picture is a full pad 1912 calendar. This red headed beauty is wearing a large brimmed hat with lots of orchid netting and adorned with flowers. Her off the should purple velvet dress is also adorned with lots of orchid colored netting. Her face is flawless and beautiful. The colors are just wonderful and never could be created with today's computers. It has the original metal band at the top and bottom. The calendar measures 22 tall by 15 wide and is in excellent condition with minor restoration on the back. There is a small crease in her neck line. The piece has been examined and and reframed. This piece and many of our new listings are fresh to the market and have been in a collection for many years.
