3 Talcum Powders Jap U Nita, Corylopsis, Madame Butterfly
ITEM DESCRIPTION:
Three vintage Oriental talcum containers with great graphics and different looks! The Jap-U-Nita is a glass container with the original brass screw top. The paper label is very colorful and very nice, it is full and has the original tax stamp on the base. Made by Wm. A Brown & Bro-Co., Baltimore, Md, it measures 5" tall. The Madame Butterfly is a perfumed talcum made of tin with a colorful printed label. Made by Chicago Cosmetics Co. Chicago, it is an oval type can with the same graphic on both sides. The top has some discoloration, but the paper label is in wonderful condition and is 5.5" tall. The third is a paper cardboard round container, made by Spooner's Corylopsis of Japan. The label has a lovely oriental lady sitting with her fan and measures 6" tall. The cardboard back does have a thumb print bend in back. All three look lovely on a shelf, and would be lovely in your bathroom or bedroom. 1015-RT
