Here is something that amazingly survived somehow for over a century! This small fold out trade card was given to country store owners by Kis-Me Chewing Gum salesmen. Kis-Me wanted to be over the top and make sure they stood out among their competitors, and this trade card did it! When you opened the card, it shows a couple sitting on a love seat with a fold out fan covering their faces when they kissed! Kis-Me is on the fan and you can't help but look! Over the years, the fold center is starting to tear at the top and bottom from use. It has a patent date of November 15, 1892 on the lower left corner, and marked Donaldson Brothers, N.Y. on the lower right corner. On the front it sells itself as The Popular Favorite and gives the company information - J.M. Clark & Co. Prop. Incorporated, Louisville, Ky. The back shows the different flavors of Kis-Me Gum available. Amazing condition for the age of the piece.
