Back when gas was cents and not dollars, this rare Richfield gas price sign would let customers know how much a gallon of gas would cost them. The attendant would slide cardboard prices into the slots on the right side and it could be changed with ease when the price rose or fell. This metal box has porcelain signs on each side that can be removed if needed. Some slight chipping has occurred on the outer edges of both sides with more chipping on the metal box. Everything is all original, and the colors look great on the porcelain, no fading like others you see.
