Nestle and Rockwood's 6 Dummy Candy Bars Store Displays 40s. Here are 6 dummy candy bars from the 40's with the original wrappers over wood. These were either salesman samples or more than likely store displays. These were put in the window to advertise without the chance of melting. All have protective plastic on these put on by me. It will come off. These are all the large size bars. 5 are Nestle's and one is Rockwood's. The Nestle's are all 7.75 x 3.75. First is a Nestle 5oz Milk Choc w/Almonds a couple edges have some nicks. Next is Nestle Semi-Sweet Choc 7oz, three of the four corners have quite a bit of wear and some missing litho on one edge. Next is Nestle Milk Choc W/Hazelnuts 5oz. One corner has a small slit. Next Nestle's Milk Choc 6.5oz. It looks great. Next is Nestle's Crunch 6oz, Exc. plus. Lastly is a larger Roasted Peanuts in Rockwood's Vanilla Choc. 8oz. Like new, even has on the bottom that it's a dummy bar. 9 x 4.25. These are all excellent for items that were to be used for a short time then thrown away almost 80 years ago.
