ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Joustra Deauville Convertible Car Tin Battery Operated France. Here is an unusual Joustra vintage super convertible from 1956. Made in France, it uses a 4.5 volt square battery. I just happen to have one and the car occasionally moves when the battery connects just right. Even then it's loud and needs a good internal cleaning/lube. I am going to say not working since I can't guarantee movement. It's large at almost 11.5 inches long. The bare metal bumpers have oxidation. The paint is nice but, has some scratches. Has a small ding right front fender just above the wheel as well as a small dent on the truck. It has the composition driver, the tin suitcases on the back seat, all 4 hubcaps as well as the tin flag that is loose in the fender. The windshield is original and nice. The battery compartment has the hold bar. There is some light surface rust in the battery compartment but, not at the contacts. All and all a hard car to find, not made for the US market as far as I can tell. Please check out my other vintage toys. Please ask any question that you may have.
